Become a fruit picker this summer!
A lot of work needs to be done at PuijkFruit in the period from the end of June to the end of August. During this period, a lot of fruit is picked at our company. We do this by hand and that is of course labor intensive! Fortunately, many students come to help every year. Would you like to come and work with us, are you motivated and are you available for at least two weeks? Please read the text below and go to the registration form at the bottom of this page. Working hours
Working hours at PuijkFruit vary per period. The busiest period is usually August and it is during this period that we need the most holiday workers. During this period we use the following working hours:

Working days from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Coffee break between 10:00 and 10:15 am.

In the event of extreme weather conditions (heat or rain), the above working hours may be deviated from.
Reward
Motivation, diligence and dexterity largely determine your merit. You get paid per hour but you can earn a bonus per box picked. There is no clear answer to the question of how much you will earn. The price per box depends on the quality of the berries and the type of boxes used for picking. This price therefore varies. But you always earn more than the minimum wage.
Enrol
You can register from the age of 14 and if you have your own ID. A passport or identity card is required for employment. For example, a passport of one of the parents in which the child is registered is not valid. Please also note that you are legally required to always have an identity card with you.
After your registration
After registering, you will receive a confirmation by email within a few working days. We will also communicate the start date and working days with you by email.
The first day at work
If your information is provided correctly and completely, it will take little time on your first working day. After checking your details and making a copy of your ID, you can get started! You will meet your supervisor and you will be placed in a group. Usually a group consists of approximately 20 people. Your supervisor is someone with experience and will teach you the necessary skills. In addition to being the first point of contact, your supervisor also monitors the quality of your picking work.
PLEASE NOTE: we are required by the government to check the identity of employees. In addition, we must include a copy of everyone's passport or ID in our administration. It is not possible to go to work without a valid ID (passport or ID).
Registration form
Every year we are looking for fruit pickers! Are you 13 years or older and does this sound like something to you? Then we are looking for you!
As a picker, you ensure that the fruit is picked neatly without damaging the crops. There is also a lot of preparatory work such as planting crops and filling pots. The working days are from Monday to Saturday. Exact times are in consultation with us and the number of hours is negotiable.
